DV Lottery Results.

DV Lottery Results are announced annually by the KCC only. No other organizations or companies are permitted to send the results to the selected people. Each year once the electronic entry submitting period is over the web site will stop accepting entries for that fiscal year diversity visa lottery program. After this the computers in the KCC will start to randomly select winners from the registered entries.

Each of them will be given with a case number according to the fiscal year and of the selected applicant's birth country's geographical region and in selected order.
Say for example if one Nigerian born man gets his case number for the DV 2011 then it will look like this 2011AF0000xxx.

Results for the diversity visa lottery will be sent to those selected applicants individually from the month of May till the end of July by regular postal mail. Those who are not selected will not get any results.
The winners notification will be sent only through regular postal mail to the addresses of the selected people, those addresses will be taken from the application form which were submitted by them at the time of the visa lottery application period.

The result package will contain further instruction as how to proceed with the immigrant visa application and the related visa fees. Those who are not selected for the program will not get any notification.

Result will not be sent through Email, Fax or Telephone. If you did get any winning notification through any of this way double check them.
The winners of the diversity visa program are strictly informed that they should not proceed further with the program if they don't have the required education/work experience.

Also they must take notice that being selected for the diversity program will not give them with the American Government's immigrant visas. It only gives a chance to apply for it by paying the immigrant visa fees and the diversity visa processing fees. The total application fee will be about US$ 755 for a single person. All eligible family members must too pay the same visa fees for each of them whether they are joining the primary applicant or not to the USA.

The related visa fees should be paid to the US Embassy or Consulates only on the visa interview date.

Never send money for the visa by Bank or by any other organizations.
If for any reason the visa is refused for the applicant the visa fees will not be refunded.

DV 2011 visa lottery E-DV application form is requesting the applicant's email address. The US authorities say in the future selected people will be contacted through their email addresses for further processing. We think some time you may get the results for the DV 2011 through your email if you are selected for the program.
