DV 2013 Visa Lottery Results.

DV 2013 visa lottery program will allow you to check your results from the month of May 2012 till June 2013. The results can be checked in the American dv lottery web site during this period. Those people who had participated in this lottery must use their confirmation code and their personal information to see whether they are selected for further processing or not. Those who had been selected for the DV program will be given more instructions on how to proceed with the selection. Those who had not been selected for this program can retry their luck in the forth coming DV Lottery, if their country is eligible to participate in the coming year.

The DV-2013 program offered the visa lottery application form from 04th October 2011 till 05th November 2011. During this period those who are eligible and have the required eligibility were allowed to submit their application through the internet. Only fully completed entries were accepted and the partly completed entries were not accepted and were notified back to the applicants.

After the entry was accepted the entrant were shown with a success page where they were given can their unique confirmation codes and their names. All the applicants were requested to printed out and to keep the confirmation page in a safe place to check their online results.

Officials at the KCC will use their computers for to make a name selection of nearly 100,000 names after the DV 2013 submission period to issue the available 50,000 US Immigrant visas to people who are coming from low immigrating countries to the USA.

In the early years the KCC officials used to select the winners through the computer random name selection till the 2012 fiscal year program and used to announce them by regular postal mail between the months of May to July every year.

In the DV- 2010 fiscal year program they did a pilot program for the applicants to check their results online through their online web site.

They allowed the entire dv lottery applicants to check their selection status from the month of June 2009 with the applicant's confirmation number, name and the year of birth. This allowed all the applicants to check their status to see whether they are selected for further processing or not.

Again for the DV- 2011 visa lottery program they continued with the postal winning notification for the selected winners and they offered the online status check facility too for the DV 2011 visa lottery participants.

As the online status check facility was found as a successful one to announce the selected winners, the State Department decided to scrape the postal winning notifications sending process for the DV 2012 visa lottery program. Now all the DV 2012 applicants must retain their confirmation number after submitting their entries in the entry submitting period. With this confirmation number and other personal details they will be allowed to check their status in the official web site from the month of July 2011.Results for the diversity visa lottery 2012 will not be sent to those selected applicants individually. The winners will not get any notification through postal mail, email, fax or phone. If you get winning notification through this way double check it as it may be a fake one.

DV 2012 results are already made available online now. No other organizations or companies are permitted to announce the results to the selected people for the program.
Each year once the electronic entry submitting period is over the official web site will stop accepting entries for that fiscal year diversity program. After this, the computers in the KCC will start to randomly select winners from the registered entries region wise.

Each of them will be given with a case number according to the fiscal year and of the selected applicant's birth country's geographical region and in selected order. Say for example if one Nigerian born man was selected for the 2013 program he will get his case number for the DV 2013 which will look like this 2013AF0000xxx12345.

The winners of the program are strictly informed that they should not proceed further with the program if they don't have the required education/work experience. Also don't loose your application submitted confirmation number as there will be no other means to check your
2013 DV Lottery results.

Also they must take notice that being selected for the program will not give them with the American Government's immigrant visas instantly.

Winning of the program will only give them a chance to apply for the immigration visa by paying the required immigrant visa fees and the diversity visa processing fees. The total application fee will be about US$ 819 for a single person. All eligible family members must too pay the same visa fees for each of them whether they are joining the primary applicant to the USA or not. If for any reason the visa is refused the visa fees will not be refunded to the applicant.

The related visa fees should be paid ONLY to the US Embassy or Consular office on the diversity visa interview date. Never send money for the visa by Bank or by any other organizations.

The US authorities say they will not send the winner selection through the email but in the future, after wining the lottery those who had been selected as winners will be contacted through their email addresses for further communication while processing their cases.
