DV 2011 Results can be checked online from the month of July 2010 till 30th June 2011, this was announced by the U.S State department in the month of September 2010. In the diversity visa history this is the second time that people who have applied for the visa lottery can check their status to confirm whether they selected for the DV 2011 program or not. But you must know the selected winners were notified between May 2010 and July 2010 through the postal mail service. As usual those who are not selected for the program will not get any postal notification.

If you see that you are selected for the program and you didn't get the winning notification mail through the postal mail then you must contact the KCC as soon as possible.

DV-2011 will start to call eligible people for interview to issue the visas or the selected people in the USA too can change their status from 01 October 2010. The program will be closed officially on 30th September 2011 midnight. There after those selected people under the green card lottery program will not be issued with visas or can't change their status to LPR in the U.S.A.

Applicants who had participated in the DV 2012 can check their status online to determine whether they are selected for the program or not.

The result checking facility will be available in the American government's official web site from July 2011 to the end of June 2012.

To check your status you will need the confirmation number which you got at the time after successfully submitting their entry.

Also they will need some personal information of the applicant to provide the online result.

Important.
If you had lost your confirmation number it will not be reissued.
After applying for the diversity visa lottery if you have shifted your address, the new address can't be submitted or entered in to your application. So you must check the address which you entered in the application form to get the winning notification if you are a winner.

Winners name list of the DV Lottery program will not be available from the U.S Embassies or U.S Consulates.
