DV 2011 Green Card Lottery Results were already sent to those applicants who are selected as winners through the computer random draw. Winners did got their winning notifications through regular postal mail from their post offices. This winning notification sending process was closed at the end of July, 2010. To issue 50,000 available visas of the DV 2011 visa lottery program nearly 100,600 winners were selected as winners from 12.6 million eligible applications and were notified as winners. Those addresses in their E-DV entries were used to send those winning notifications. These notifications have further instructions in the package of the related visa fees and how to proceed with the winning.

Those applicants who are not selected for the greencard lottery program DV2011will not get any notification from the KCC center.

All those DV 2011 visa lottery applicants can check their status online from 01/07/2010 till 30/06/2011. This online result checking facility will be available in the official web site of the U.S DV lottery which is also called as the American Government's dv lottery web site. There to check your status you have to provide your last name, year of birth and the confirmation number which was shown to you when your application was accepted in the year 2009.

If you have lost or forgotten to copy your confirmation number that was shown to you after accepting your dv lottery application form, it won't be re-issued again.

If you have changed your postal address after applying for the DV 2011 Lottery program, the new address can't be included in your already submitted entry form. All you have to do is to check for your winning notification in the old address which you had given in the green card lottery application form.

If you want to change any information that you had given in the application form, you don't have permission to do that. If you want to obtain any information that you have provided in the DV 2011 application form that too won't be available.

If you got any notification through email or fax or phone double check it as it may be a fake one.

If you are not selected for the DV 2011 greencard visa lottery you can try your luck again in the coming DV 2012 greencard lottery program this year 2010.
